Eco contributions is enabled only for offset clients. This section talks about your offset information for orders placed on your ecommerce store. This module is divided into 4 sections - dashboard, projects, retirals and configurations
Eco contributions dashboard:
The eco contributions dashboard collects all offset statistics for your store.
The top row lists all the project metrics towards which you are offsetting along with the total value offset for each metric
Below this, for each metric we display some essential statistics (which can be filtered date wise) such as:
Products: The total number of products in your ecommerce orders that were mapped and processed towards the offset
Pending retirals: These are the offset credits pending after monthly accumulations and have not been retired yet. These are the credits yet to be retired by GS from carbon registry
Transactions: The number of transaction/ orders processed through the ecommerce store and contributes towards the offset
Amount: The offset cost associated with the total products processed. This is how much you have been charged.
Graphs and pie charts:
Total usage by month graph: Indicate how your offset credits have been utilised across different months.
Credit usage by order type: This indicates what type of order channels your offset credits have been utilised towards
Credit usage by activity: This indicates what type of phases of your products lifecycle your offset credits have been utilised towards
Project statistics:
Projects supported: Indicates the offset projects that you have contributed towards. Projects are organised into different ypes such as reforestation, renewable and social etc.
Sustainable developmental goals: SDGs are a set of global objectives established by the UN to address various social, economic, and environmental challenges. The projects have SDGs attached to it which indicates what SDGs your projects are contributing towards.
Badges: These are qualtitiative milestones to your sustainability efforts which can be displayed on your social media platforms and websites
Projects
In the projects tab, you can add the projects you want to offset towards.
Using the add new button, you can add projects. An outline of the steps to add a project are as follows:
Select the type of project metric you want to support
Select from a list of available offsetting projects within this metric. You have to select a minimum of 1 project to proceed
Once you have selected the projects, you can configure the distribution percentage across projects. That is, the amount you wish to donate across different projects. The total distribution should add up to 100%
Once you have configured the distribution, you can validate your monthly cost estimate and then preview and submit
Note: You can create only one project distribution profile for each metric. You can modify the existing project distribution profile to add new projects or remove existing ones for each metric.
All the added projects live on the project list screen. The list screen consists of the following information:
Project name: This contains the project name, location, status of the project
Credit usage:
Prepaid: GS allots a prepaid client with a certain number of carbon credits in advance for a certain time period at a fixed price
Postpaid: The client is charged as the offsetting is done, based on their projects selected and % distribution
Project type: The type of the project which can include reforestation, social, renewable etc
Current price: Price at which GS proposes offset carbon credits to postpaid clients
Distribution %: - The share of offset configured for that particular project
Credits available: The number of offset credits left over for the particular project. It helps to gauge your inventory and when to re-fill it. It also prevent order failure due to low offset credit balance.
Monthly credit use: The number of offset credit used by you on a monthly basis
Phases: The phases across which you want to offset for each project
View project usage tab and lifecycle phases
Total offset: The total amount offset with that particular project
Last transaction date: Last date the offset credits were used for the particular project
Number of transactions: Total number of transactions done overall for each project in which the offset credits were used
Amount: Price of total offset. This is how much you were charged for offseting.
Manage lifecycle phases: This popup allows you to choose the different lifecycle phases across which you want to offset for each project.
Prepaid agreements
Legal agreement between GS and client where terms and conditions of offsetting is decided for a longer time period. This tab is available only for prepaid clients.
This tab provides following information:
Allocation date: The allocation date refers to the date where the prepaid agreement is in force. The offset credits are updated on this date.
Total credits allocated: Total offset credits allocated to the client for a particular time frame at a fixed price. The credits are decided upon in the prepaid agreement.
Total prepaid price: Price of 1 credit which is decided upon in the prepaid agreement
Retirals
This sections allows you to view your retirals and its associated information.
Accumulated retirals: It is the total amount of offset credits which needs to be retired based on your monthly processed orders
Total retired: Number of offset credits which have been retired by GS
Transaction ID: It is a unique ID obtained from the carbon registry to indicate retirals done by GS. This retirals can be cross verified with the registry directly using this ID
Public link: When GS retires offset credits, a certificate is issued. This public registry link navigates you access to this certificate

Configuration
The configuration tab allows you to configure offset settings store wise. You can configure information such as:
The lifecycle stage(s) which you would like to offset across each store
Configure if you would like to send your customers post-purchase emails with their offset certificate for each store
Configure if you would like to ‘Go Live’ for each store. This indicates if you would like to take the carbon offsetting live on your platform after which all orders made on your platform will be processed with offset
