Products contain details based on which the supply chain data is mapped, and footprint is calculated. The product screen provides a summary of all the products that have been added to the system. Each product has its details, supply chain and footprint linked to it. You can access these through the list screen that gets created after you add the products. If your products have variations, you can manage them from here.

Manage variation

Collection of products that may have the same characteristics but differ based on their color, size or length are variations. If a product has variation, you can add them by providing the product attributes such as size, colour and length. Each attribute requires values and unit of measurement that correspond to the selected attribute.

Add product variations

To add variation, click on “manage variation” from the product action list. This is going to be visible only if the product type selected is "variant".

  1. If you are adding variations for the first time:

    • Select attribute such as size, colour, length; which is the variant characteristic of the product

    • Input value associated with the attribute. For example, size attribute will have values like small, medium, large.
    • Select the unit of measurement corresponding to the value.
  2. If you are adding the variation to an existing set of products, after you click on manage variation, you will see a table of existing variations with an option to “edit” on top.
  3. Clicking on edit, will allow you to add and edit new and existing variations.
