Building a material library consists of acceptable raw material and sustainable attributes associated with each composition. Before downloading the template, ensure you follow the raw material and attributes from the list.

Material library template contains the following details:
Mandatory columns:
- Name: The name of material composition
- Code: Material composition code
- Component type: The type of component such as fabric, yarn, fibre, button etc.
- Raw material: A label given to a component to establish a link between them. It is not the actual or most upstream component in the production of a product. For example: A label called cotton is used to identify – cotton fabric, cotton fibre and cotton yarn. Whereas cotton Kappas is the actual raw material of the product
- Percentage: The percentage of the respective material composition. For example, 60% cotton and 40% polyester
Non-mandatory columns:
- Sustainable attribute: Specific characteristics or qualities of a product, or process in facilities that indicate its level of environmental, social, and economic sustainability. For example: Products or processes that rely on renewable resources, such as renewable energy or sustainably sourced materials
- Notes: Any relevant notes.
Once you have uploaded the file and mapped the columns, you can preview the file to amend the errors.
